Allen was predeceased by his parents Delno Ray Smith I and Verdi Ruth (Hayes)Smith . both buried in Salinas Ca. and brother Delno Ray Smith II .passed away in Mattoon, Illinois.

Allen asked his body be donated to science, and remains cremated .
