
Gary Coleman was best known for his role as Arnold Jackson on the hit US comedy Different Strokes between 1978 and 1986. His character catchphrase "What you talking 'bout, Willis?" became globally well known.
The actor never grew taller than 4foot 8inchs because of health problems and had 2 kidney transplants when he was 14years old. He had been in hospital 3 times in the last year, once after having a seizure at a TV studio in February. Gary was in hospital this week after falling and hitting his head at home, Utah,US. He was "conscious and lucid" but he fell unconscious and went onto life support. His wife Shannon Price, 24, made the decision to turn off his life support and his manager said the actor "passed quickly and peacefully" soon after.
He is now at peace and will be remembered for all his work in entertainment.
